Welsh Conservatives call for clarity for small businesses

Russell George MS – the Shadow Business Minister in the Welsh Parliament – has renewed calls for greater clarity and better communication for small businesses from the Labour-run government.

He was speaking after a Federation of Small Businesses spokesperson made similar demands.

Mr George said:

“Businesspeople have been contacting me and my Welsh Conservative colleagues with pleas for us to get the Welsh Government to communicate clearly and in a timely manner with small businesses, while making sure that as many as possible seek assistance under the Economic Resilience Fund.

“The small businesses sector is one of the major mainstays of the Welsh economy. The sector needs support from the Welsh Labour Government to make sure it remains a significant contributor when the lockdown eases.”
